Peaslake is in the heart of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is only a stones throw from London, about half way between Guildford and Dorking.

Our area includes such landmarks as Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill as well as some outstanding countryside in between. It encompasses the Hurtwood an area of over 3000 acres of privately owned land, but fully open to roaming public use.

As well as a network of bridleways and forest trails, in recent years organisations like Redland Trails, have in conjunction with the landowners been building dedicated mountain bike trails so adding to the potential of the area.

Checkpoints are scattered near and far so as to provide a challenge for newcomers and experienced alike.

We will be serving tea, coffee, hot dogs, and the legendry Peaslake cheese straws from the village hall. Peaslake also has its village store and the Hurtwood Inn on offer.
